What happens when an ordinary real-estate project turns into something far more extraordinary?

Many years ago, I thought my future would be relatively straightforward.

A few real-estate projects. Entrepreneurship. Business challenges. Building something meaningful.

Nothing unusual.

Yet life sometimes takes directions that even the best satire would struggle to invent.

What began with former NATO properties gradually evolved into a story spanning decades and touching on history, law, politics, micronations, media controversies, personal tragedies, and the often unexpected consequences of human decisions.

That story is now being told through the graphic novel series Global Epic Fail – World Succession Deed.

An Autobiographical Graphic Novel Based on True Events

The series is based on my personal memoirs and serves as the graphic-novel introduction to a much larger autobiographical project currently in development.

The first nine chapters take readers through the early stages of an extraordinary journey involving:

The geopolitical changes following the end of the Cold War
Former NATO military properties and conversion projects
The creation of a micronation kingdom
Legal disputes and media attention
Betrayal, surveillance, and personal crises
Self-education in law and unconventional solutions
Friendships, losses, and unanswered questions
The often surreal reality behind historical events

What begins as the story of a young entrepreneur slowly evolves into a blend of autobiography, contemporary history, political satire, dark humor, and personal reflection.

Why the Title Global Epic Fail?

Because many of the events, viewed in retrospect, are simultaneously tragic, absurd, humorous, and difficult to believe.

Some people write memoirs about successful careers.

Others write about world travel.

I somehow ended up in a story where former military bases, statehood projects, lawyers, punk concerts, media reports, and geopolitical events collide in ways nobody could reasonably predict.

Currently Available in German

The first nine chapters are currently available in German.

An English translation is already in preparation and will be released in the future, allowing international readers to follow the story as well.
